Barong Dance in Batubulan
Apart from its natural beauty, Bali is also famous for its arts and culture. One of them is a traditional dance called Barong Dance that tells a battle between Barong, a creature that looks like a lion with a red head, which represents good spirit, and Rangda, the demon queen, in Bali mythological. This dance is usually performed in an open theater with live traditional musical instrument called "gamelan" played to accompany the show. One of the popular places to watch it is in Batubulan, which is the name of a village in Bali that also famous for stone carvings that are sold along the roadside shops. The show can be watched from around 09:30 am - 10:30 am daily.

Batuan Temple
Batuan Temple is located in Batuan village which is also famous for its artworks and paintings. It was built in ancient Balinese temple architecture with the roof made from the fiber of chromatic black palm tree. Many astonishing archaic relics from the ancient time can be seen around the temple. The name "Batuan" itself is like an idea for the villagers that they should be "tough as stone", as "batu" in Balinese means "stone". On the other hand, it might also refer to an old tradition where the standing stone was served as a place for meeting and a ceremonial site to worship the ancestral spirits. Batuan Temple is open for tourists to visit from 9 am - 6 pm every day.
3rd Destination
Tegenungan Waterfall
Tegenungan Waterfall is a beautiful natural waterfall that is easy to reach, as it is located not too far from the nearest town, Ubud town. It is open for public from 06:30 am - 06:30 pm every day. The falls is family friendly as it is not situated in highlands or mountainous area and the stairs down to the falls are quite easy and walkable, which takes only several minutes to go down to the falls. This place offers a cool atmosphere and scenic views with the green surroundings and fresh water that can be swum in at the plunge pool of the falls. Some facilities are also provided around the area, such as restaurants, swing, changing room and souvenir shops.

Ubud Monkey Forest
Ubud Monkey Forest is a nature reserve and temple complex in Ubud area. This sanctuary is home to a large population of Balinese long-tailed monkeys or also called as Macaques, which are the main attraction of the complex. Inside the forest, there are also ancient statues and Balinese Hindu temples, which therefore this place is also known as the Sacred Monkey Forest. This place is considered as an important place for spiritual activity, economy, education and conservation by the locals. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the area and open for tourists to visit from 9 am - 6 pm daily.

Ubud Palace
Located in the centre of Ubud, Ubud Palace is a historical building complex with magnificent Balinese architectures, carvings and courtyards. It is the place where the royal family in the region lives in and has beautifully crafted buildings with high aesthetic value. The complex is open to visit from 7 am - 5 pm every day. It is also functioned as a place to host cultural events, such as traditional dance performance that is generally held every evening, and the center of Balinese traditional arts. There is also a temple in the complex which is forbidden for tourists to get in, as it is a private temple for the royal family.

Saraswati Temple
Saraswati Temple is a Balinese Hindu temple that was built to worship Saraswati, the goddess of arts and knowledge in Hinduism. Nestled in the center of Ubud town, it is one of the popular landmarks in the area due to its beauty and artistic architectures. There is a large pool with pink lotus flowers in the complex of the temple, which becomes the main attraction of this site and therefore makes the temple is also known as Ubud Water Palace. However, the main temple is located inside and tourists are not allowed to explore as it is sacred, thus only those who want to pray that allowed to get in to the inner area of the temple. The temple is open from 7 am - 5 pm every day.

Ubud Art Market
Open daily from 8 am - 6 pm, Ubud Art Market is a traditional market that sells Balinese handicrafts and souvenirs which is popular for both local and foreign tourists. Situated in the center of Ubud makes it very strategic and easy to find. A variety of original and artistic products by the local craftspeople can be found here, such as handmade crockeries, woven bags, sarongs, statues, silk scarves and jewelry. Seeing various products on the display from one shop to another is the excitement when visiting or shopping at this place. However, most of the products on the shops do not have price tags, hence bargaining when buying the products is essential in order to get a good deal.

Tegalalang Rice Terraces and Coffee Plantation
Located in a valley surrounded by the green landscape, Tegalalang Rice Terraces comprises a series of beautifully arranged cascading rice fields that follows traditional Balinese irrigation system called "subak". This area is very popular during sunrise and sunset and famous for the beautiful scenery that it offers, that stretches down and away to the paddies on the downhills across the valley. A great variety of carvings and wooden art forms from the local craftspeople could also be found in a small village around the area. Swings and a marvelous infinity pool cafe are available on the spot to add more pleasure in enjoying the view. This area is open to visit from 7 am - 6 pm daily.

This tour will cover the visits to the well-known tourist attractions that are located in the northeastern part of Bali, particularly Ubud area. Visitors can also learn about Balinese culture that could be seen while visiting some of those places. The price of the tour is IDR 700,000 which includes a private car that can take up to 6 people maximum, English-speaking driver, gasoline, parking fee and mineral water. It might take about 8 – 10 hours for the whole trip to finish.
